Context

Amaris Consulting is a global engineering and technology consultancy. In Strasbourg, I joined a nascent team with a deceptively simple mission: open the IT and Telecom markets in the Grand-Est region.

The challenge

Starting from zero means: zero clients, zero consultants, zero track record. You have to sell missions, recruit technical profiles, deploy them at clients and retain them — all while building the credibility of a brand few people knew in the region.

What I did

I prospected and signed the first industrial and telecom-operator clients. In parallel, I sourced, recruited and managed consultants — career development, upskilling, mission oversight. I also led responses to complex public tenders through Bid Management.

In two years, I built a team of 17 simultaneously deployed consultants with a high mission-renewal rate.

€1.5M annual revenue built from scratch. 17 consultants recruited and managed. A €400K public tender secured over 4 years.

What I took away

Launching a business from zero teaches one thing: you have to choose where to focus energy. I learned to distinguish what generates traction from what generates noise.
