Europ’Esthetic Sud-Ouest
Managing Director of a profitable company across 4 countries — P&L, marketing, web, inventory: all of it.
Context
Europ’Esthetic Sud-Ouest distributes medical-aesthetics equipment — light therapy, radiofrequency, ultrasound devices — to beauty professionals and healthcare practitioners in France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium.
I took over as Managing Director in 2020 — in a turbulent period — with full P&L ownership.
The challenge
Running an SME solo across 4 different markets means being sales, marketing, product, procurement and CFO at once. The daily challenge: knowing where to put time so you stop fighting the same fires indefinitely.
What I did
I structured acquisition: direct prospecting, WordPress site SEO, targeted email campaigns segmented by market and country. I negotiated supplier agreements and strategic contracts with European partners.
I managed cash flow, purchasing, inventory and after-sales service — maintaining the company’s profitability throughout the period.
Outcomes
~€400K annual revenue. Profitable throughout the period. Active commercial presence across 4 countries.
What I took away
Running a company solo across 4 markets teaches you to prioritise under constraint — not when it’s easy, but when resources are scarce and everything feels urgent. That reflex serves me every day.
Highlights
- ~€400K annual revenue maintained over 3 years
- Full P&L managed solo across 4 countries
- Acquisition, marketing, operations and finance owned end to end
What I took awayRunning an SME solo across 4 markets is product management without a safety net: prioritise, ship, measure — and start over when it doesn’t.
